1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Cue Life, a men’s health platform delivering clinical and digital services focused on prevention, optimization, and longevity. By accessing or using our website, portal, applications, or clinical and coaching services (collectively, the “Services”), you (“User”, “you”) accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These T&Cs operate alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data, and any service-specific consents or informed consent forms you sign (e.g., for diagnostics, prescriptions, or research participation). If a written agreement signed by Cue Life conflicts with these T&Cs, that agreement prevails for the conflicting subject matter.

2. Services Offered

Cue Life provides a suite of men’s health services, including:

  • Medical Consultations (telemedicine and in-person) via secure, compliant platforms.
  • Personalized Health Programs (training, nutrition, supplement strategies, recovery).
  • Health Coaching by qualified professionals (non-medical where so designated).
  • Prescriptions & Medication Management by licensed clinicians via FMK where applicable.
  • Diagnostics & Testing (e.g., bloodwork, imaging, validated assessments) using accredited Danish or EU laboratories and providers.
  • Digital Tools for tracking biomarkers, wearables, adherence, and education.

Not a replacement for emergency or primary care. The Services complement your existing healthcare and must not be used for emergencies. If you experience an emergency, call 112 or seek immediate medical attention.

3. User Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be 18+ and capable of entering a binding agreement under Danish law.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated.
  • You agree to comply with Danish law, clinical instructions, and any program requirements.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access for breach of these T&Cs, risk to patient safety, suspected fraud, abusive conduct, or as required by law or regulators.

4. User Conduct and Community Standards

You agree to:

  • Treat staff and other users respectfully; no harassment, threats, discrimination, or hate speech.
  • Use the Services only for lawful, personal healthcare purposes.
  • Refrain from scraping, reverse engineering, attempting to bypass security, or introducing malware.
  • Refrain from misrepresenting identity, symptoms, or medical history.

Cue Life may terminate or restrict access for violations. We may report threats of harm or criminal conduct to relevant authorities.

5. Clinical Standards, Telemedicine, and Prescriptions

  • Clinical services are provided by licensed healthcare professionals subject to Autorisationsloven (Danish Authorization Act), Sundhedsloven (Danish Health Act), and related executive orders and professional guidance.
  • Telemedicine sessions occur via encrypted platforms. We may require video and/or identity verification.
  • Prescription decisions are at the sole clinical discretion of the prescriber, in accordance with medical indications, contraindications, relevant guidelines, and FMK processes. Prescriptions will not be issued where clinically inappropriate or unlawful.
  • Some interventions may require recent labs, diagnostic imaging, or examinations before initiation or continuation.
  • We may decline care or refer you to alternative providers if your needs fall outside our scope.

6. Diagnostics and Lab Work

  • Diagnostics are performed by accredited providers. By using the Services, you consent to the necessary collection, processing, and disclosure of data to laboratories and healthcare partners for ordering, performing, and interpreting tests.
  • You are responsible for following pre-test instructions (e.g., fasting). Abnormal, urgent, or incidental findings will be managed per clinical judgment and standard of care.

7. Privacy and Data Handling

We process personal data in accordance with GDPR, the Danish Data Protection Act, Sundhedsloven, Journalføringsbekendtgørelsen (Record Keeping Order), and other applicable rules. See our Privacy Policy for details, including legal bases, disclosures (e.g., RKKP, Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed, Sundhedsdatastyrelsen, regional billing offices, pharmacies via FMK), retention (typically ≥10 years for patient records), and your rights.

We will notify affected users of personal data breaches without undue delay and in accordance with GDPR Articles 33–34.

8. Research-Adjacent, Quality Improvement, and “Near-Research-Level” Compliance

Cue Life aims for rigorous, evidence-based practice. To that end:

8.1 Quality Improvement (QI) and Service Evaluation

We may aggregate and analyze de-identified or pseudonymized data for quality improvement, safety monitoring, clinical audit, and service evaluation under applicable law. Such activities are part of healthcare operations and do not require research consent.

8.2 Research vs. QI

Activities constituting research (systematic investigation designed to produce generalizable knowledge) will be conducted only with:

  • Appropriate ethical oversight (e.g., regional Scientific Ethics Committee) when required,
  • Informed consent from participants, unless a lawful waiver applies, and
  • Compliance with Helsinki Declaration, Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) where applicable, and relevant Danish/EU research law.

We will clearly distinguish research participation from routine care. Declining research participation will not affect your access to standard Services.

8.3 Data Integrity, Monitoring, and Adverse Events

We maintain procedures for data accuracy, audit trails, change control, and pharmacovigilance/adverse event reporting to Lægemiddelstyrelsen where applicable. Safety signals may prompt care changes, additional monitoring, or referral.

8.4 Publications and Learnings

Aggregated and de-identified insights may be shared in publications or professional forums. We will not publish identifiable information without explicit written consent.

9. Cookies and Web Tracking

Our sites and apps use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Services. Where required, we obtain consent and provide granular controls. See our Cookie Notice for details.

10. Third-Party Services and Partners

We collaborate with third-party providers (e.g., hosting, communications, labs, payment processing) under GDPR-compliant contracts and safeguards. Use of certain features may rely on those providers; availability may vary. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.

11. Payments, Subscriptions, Cancellations, and Refunds

Methods: Stripe card payments; invoicing for corporate clients by agreement.

Timing: Payment is required in advance upon booking, or within 10 days for approved invoices.

Subscriptions: Billed monthly (or as stated at checkout). You may cancel at any time with effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues through the paid term.

Cancellations / No-Shows: Cancel ≥3 days before the appointment to avoid fees. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to the full fee.

Refunds: Full refund if a service is canceled by you before commencement of that specific service. If a program has started, pro-rata refunds are at our reasonable discretion, considering clinical effort, consumed diagnostics, and regulatory constraints.

Chargebacks: You agree not to make unjustified chargebacks. We may suspend Services for unresolved payment issues.

We may change prices or billing terms with reasonable prior notice; changes apply to subsequent terms.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, service marks, logos, and materials made available via the Services are the exclusive property of Cue Life DK ApS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

13. Medical Disclaimers

  • The Services are provided by licensed professionals exercising clinical judgment based on the information you provide and available medical records. You must provide complete and accurate information and follow clinical advice.
  • Results may vary; no outcome can be guaranteed.
  • The Services do not replace emergency care. For emergencies, call 112 immediately.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cue Life and its clinicians and contractors shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages;
  • Loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data;
  • Any matters beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure).

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees paid by you for the affected Service during the three (3) months preceding the event. Nothing in these T&Cs limits liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or intent, or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Cue Life harmless against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these T&Cs or law, (b) misuse of the Services, or (c) content or information you provide that is false, incomplete, or infringing—except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

16. Regulatory Compliance and Oversight

Cue Life complies with applicable Danish healthcare regulation, including Autorisationsloven, Sundhedsloven, Journalføringsbekendtgørelsen, and guidance from Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed.

Complaints regarding healthcare services may be submitted to Styrelsen for Patientklager and compensation claims to Patienterstatningen, as applicable.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

  • You materially breach these T&Cs or applicable law;
  • We are required to do so by law, regulator, or court;
  • Continued service poses risk to safety or integrity; or
  • Fraud, abuse, or non-payment is suspected.

You may terminate at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. Termination does not affect accrued rights, obligations to pay due fees, or our legal right/obligation to retain medical records.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, epidemics, cyber incidents, power failures, labor disputes, or governmental actions.

19. Changes to Services and to these T&Cs

We may modify the Services and these T&Cs. Material changes will be notified via the platform or email and will take effect on the stated date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These T&Cs are governed by Danish law (excluding conflict-of-laws rules). Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts. Consumers may have mandatory protections under Danish consumer law which are not affected by these T&Cs.

21. Severability; No Waiver

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. No waiver of any term is a continuing waiver unless made in writing and signed by us.
